Here are the species of fish we target usually. The exception would be if we went to a far side of the island (Hana, Ke’anae, and deep West side), where there’s more pelagic species.
Note: If you request we go to one of these spots, it’ll be considered an All-Day Dive, regardless of experience levels and what gear we bring. These spots are somewhat tricky to get to, and clear on the opposite side of the island that we are.

FAQs
-
There are several sub-species of Uhu that are not protected, though we as a company will not encourage the taking of any from the reefs as their benefit to our reefs far outweigh their delicious taste.
-
Depending on how much rain and for how long it’s been raining in that particular area would be the determining factor, but if you’re out already and it starts to rain, it may actually clear up visibility and improve the quality of your dive.
-
Not only are we the most affordable option on island, but our guides go out spearfishing on almost a daily basis, so we’re always available to take people out on tours. Also, since we don’t do classroom time to prepare with a lecture or anything before our dives, we very thoroughly go over safety procedures and target species prior to getting in the water to ensure the maximum amount of time is spent with guests enjoying themselves doing what they signed up for, as opposed to reading about it.

Upon request we are able to provide up to 2 guests with wetsuits. At the moment. We will be acquiring more as time goes on.
